What Are The Be Verbs
A verb describes what a person or thing does or what happens. For example, verbs describe: an action – run, hit, travel an event – rain, occur a situation – be, seem, have. Basically, an infinitive verb is a verb with the word “to” in front of it. They can be used in many ways including as the subject of a sentence. It is normally a linking verb showing existence or the condition of the subject. It can also be used as an auxiliary verb when forming the passive voice.
